In the Calne cluster Netball event at Kingsbury Green Academy, our Year 5 / 6 team won all bar one of their matches to win the silver medal position ahead of larger schools and those who had selected only their strongest players.  The team spirit, mutual support and courage in the face of strong opposition were impressive.  Our team demonstrated good game play strategies and hand:eye co-ordination despite having quite numb hands thanks to the cold wind they endured.  Those hours of practising shooting paid off.  Mrs Kitts is immensely proud of the have-a-go attitude, resilience and good sporting behaviour shown by everyone on the team.  Well done Team St Nics!
