Chippenham games 2016

Each and every year Chippenham puts hard work and effort into organizing a fun day for the year 6’s across Chippenham. This means they have a chance to meet new friends that will be joining them in their new challenges and experiences at secondary. The games have been running for seven years and has been very successful for all the children, from whether they have met new friends or learnt new skills. This year it was held on the 21^st of June on the Tuesday. A very lucky surprise for all the children who took part as a rhythmic gymnast, who will be competing in Rio 2016 Olympics, came to the games to give some team spirit talk to the children.

There were ten stations including;

Fencing,

Obstacle course,

Tri golf,

Outside surfing,

Rhythmic gymnastics,

Mini Marathon,

Tuke ball,

Dancing,

Wall climbing

And break & face paints!

Overall the children enjoyed the day and we all were honoured medals and the gymnast gave us signatures on the T- shirts we were given that morning.
