Holly Class at Woodland Wanderers
Wednesday saw Holly Class enjoying their first Woodland Wanderers.
The weather was gorgeous and we set off to Bluebell Woods after lunch.
The theme this block is Humans and Animals in the environment and we stopped and looked at the sheep and lambs on the way.
Mrs Lander had found a very large footprint which we compared to Jake's paw and also our hands - the footprint was a lot bigger! We worked out how big the animal must have been to have left the print and most of us guessed that it must be as big as a lion.
Next we went on a search for animal tracks, we found all sorts of clues to what animals live in the woodland.
After squash and biscuits we all headed off back to school.
