  • Rock Stars!

    It was great to see the children dressing up as their avatars from Times Tables Rock Stars to celebrate Number Day and raise funds for the NSPCC.  We had lots of fun and hope that the children continue to enjoy using TTRS to develop their maths skills.

    Huge congratulations to all of the children for their wonderful Nativity performance of Everyone Loves a Baby!  It was lovely to see the audience's smiles as they enjoyed the catchy tunes.

  • Thorn Class Sharing Assembly

    Wow!  What an amazing assembly Thorn Class produced this morning.  We experienced their learning this term through a variety of TV shows including; Junior Bake Off, Deadly 60, Bromham's Got Talent, University Challenge, Life, Bedtime Stories and Ninja Art.  They have certainly been a busy bunch!
  • Christmas Pudding Run 2019

    Thank you to all who participated in, volunteered or supported the Pudding Run this year.  The conditions were perfect and the event was superbly organised by our wonderful PTA.  Funds raised are much appreciated by all at school as they enable us to complete projects and purchase additional resources.
  • St. Nichoas Christmas Tree Festival

    Children from the School Council decorating our entry, A Variety of Gifts,  to the Christmas Tree Festival at St. Nicholas Church.  The trees were already looking amazing and well worth a visit to appreciate.
  • Fantastic Football Festival

    We were so proud of our football squad who came 2nd in their group at last Friday's football festival at Stanley Park.  They won 4 out of their 5 matches!  They worked hard and strategically as a team enabling lots of players to score goals.  Their defence was amazing and many an opposition goal was saved!  Just as important as their fantastic football skills was their sense of fair play  and the courtesy towards other players.  Well done!
  • New Hymn Books

    A huge thank you to Mr and Mrs M. Paget who have donated a complete set of new hymn books to the school.  They will be greatly appreciated by the children as our old ones were really falling apart!  Many thanks.
  • Odd Socks!

    We celebrated anti-bullying week by wearing odd socks and learning a new song written especially to support this theme.  We talked about the definition of bullying - what it is and what it isn't and how we can ensure that our school is a bullying free zone.  If you are interested to find out more there are some great resources for teachers and parents on the Anti-Bullying Alliance website www.anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk.
