The children learned how to reduce food waste by using leftovers to make tasty and nutritious meals.
Thorn class saw how to make roasted couscous salad with left over vegetables while Willow and holly class saw how to make potato cakes with mashed potato. There was a bit of blind tasting involved too!
The best part was being able to take some potato cakes home to eat.
