Science dome

Last week we had a visit from the Science dome to learn about light.

The children crawled through a tunnel into a large inflatable dome that was lit by different types of light.

We learned about different sources of light, reflection, shadows and rainbows. Did you know that the moon reflects the light of the sun?

The children also found out what it was like to be in a room where there was no light at all.

One of the highlights of the session was touching the plasma globe and some people got it to light up with their noses!

The children really enjoyed their sessions in the dome and they were curious to find out more.
