    Maths matters

This Thursday, 26th May, our whole school have been math magicians. We took part in a full on maths day. The classes have all been great at taking part and working their hardest. They were learning about shape and space in practical, hands-on activities; drawing spirals, printing repeating geometric patterns, creating tangrams, building 2D and 3D shapes, creating patterns using tessellation and investigating patterns in nature.  As always, many thanks to the teachers for setting up fun activities for everyone.

    Sheep

This term, Mrs Lander brought over her sheep to St Nicholas. They have been great fun for all the children who have all had a go at feeding and helping Mrs Lander to look after them. Unfortunately, the sheep have to go home back with Mrs Lander but will hopefully we can reunite with them next year! Also a great thanks to Mrs Lander who has inspired a lot of the children to have sheep of their own.
